Prescription eyewear is moving offline...
On the 29th December at 5pm, we’ll be stopping our online sales of prescription eyewear. This means you won’t be able to buy prescription glasses online after this date.
This might seem sad (and it is a little), but don’t worry. You’ll still be able to buy our prescription frames from our optical stockists around the country, and we’ll keep selling our incredible sunglasses on findyourbirds.com. So from January onwards all of our online optical products will point you to your nearest stockist instead.
This is a BIG change for us (probably the biggest change since we launched), and we’ve made it for positive reasons. We’re growing and our list of optical stockists has tripled in the last year alone.
We want to prioritise and champion the connections between our flock and their local optician. Supporting local business and lowering the carbon footprint of our optical frames.
You still have time
If you’d like to order prescription glasses online, you’ll need to do so before the 29th December. And if you’d like to use our home try-on service, you’ll need to order your try-on box before 1st December to give enough time to use the service and order your glasses before our 29th December cut-off.
