One of our most popular frame shapes, the Athene, has been given a makeover that combines modern style with cues from the past. The result is an iconic frame that will be at home wherever you wear them. Carefully finished with sprung hinges to give the arms flexibility and ensure a comfortable fit. The Athene combines Italian Mazzucchelli bio-acetate and ethically sourced wooden temples to provide a more eco-friendly alternative to petroleum-based plastics.

The wooden temples are made using sustainably certified woods, layered for extra strength and inlaid with our bird motif.
